If you’re ready to start a new group at Hillcrest, that’s great! We love seeing leaders using their gifts to meet specific needs and multiply disciples.
Here is what we believe are the essential elements of a Hillcrest disciple making group.

We share our lives, and care for each other.

We support each other in our next steps on Hillcrest’s discipleship pathway.

We pray together and for one another.

We pursue maturity in Christ by making disciples who make disciples

We identify upcoming leaders from within the group and give them opportunities to lead, so that we can multiply groups.

Group leaders are empowered by and accountable to Hillcrest.

START AN ALPHA GROUP
WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha is a series of interactive video sessions that explore life, faith and God in a friendly, open and informal environment.
What is an Alpha Group?
-
You can host an Alpha Group in your home, school, or workplace.

Your Alpha Group is about creating a welcoming, friendly place where people can come and ask questions to explore the Christian faith.

In each session there’s food, a short talk, and discussion.

Everything you need to run Alpha is available online and free to download.

How long does an Alpha Group run?

Typically runs over 8-12 weeks.
