We believe prayer is an essential element to our growth as a church and as individuals and we desire to be a place where hearing and obeying God's voice is normal for everyone. Transformation comes as we grow in dependent partnership and intimate participation with God in prayer and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Whether you are starting your prayer journey or have been praying for years, all of us are at the same place of reliance on God to grow in our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. As we depend on Him and walk in His Spirit, He will teach us how to pray and cause us to grow in our prayer life.

We have many avenues of prayer for your personal growth as well as opportunities for those wishing to serve. Here is a brief description of these opportunities:
Prayer Programs
GOOD NEWS PRAYER MEETING
Good News Prayer Meetings are designed to prayer for the people that are close to you - family, friends, neighbours, the community.

We will be gathering to pray for people who need Jesus. In preparation for the evening would you ask God to bring someone to your heart and mind. It will be a public prayer meeting so be wise on disclosing name or detail. Let us wrap this event in a sacred confidentiality but come prepared with faith asking for the Holy Spirit to touch lives.
AFTER-SERVICE PRAYER
Every Sunday at the end of the service, volunteer prayer teams pray for people impacted by the message, going through a personal struggle, or those who would like prayer for a family member or specific need.
EMAIL PRAYER
Confidential prayer requests are emailed and prayed for weekly by a team of people who believe God answers prayer. If you are a regular attender at Hillcrest and would like to join this team, contact the office here.

Men's Monday morning prayer meeting starts at 8:00 a.m between September and June (breaking for Christmas). Men of all ages meet together weekly for prayer and breakfast at the Smitty's at the Mall (new location). Contact Duncan Blackman here for more details.
