CONNECT SMALL
LEAD IN A GROUP
One of Hillcrest's aspirational goals is Multiplication. If we are going to play our part in making disciples and discipling nations, we need to dream big and develop more leaders. You might not be ready to tackle your own group yet, but we want to see many more people stepping into their leadership gifts so that we can play our part in spreading the Gospel and making disciples.

You can start small by talking with your group leader and asking if there are specific ways you could help your group. Your group leader will likely be very excited that you’d like to help and be happy to share their wisdom and experiences in leadership with you.

There may be other opportunities better suited to your leadership development than the group that you are already a part of, but we’d be happy to help find you a suitable place where you can develop your leadership. Let us know if you’re interested in growing in your leadership.

Be courageous and take your next step. Lead in a group!

Group Guidelines
-
Everyone shares in sentences, not paragraphs.

Focus only on what this passage is saying, not on other passages.
-
Focus only on what this group is seeing.
-
Give people time to respond. Silence is OK.
-
The facilitator should facilitate discussion, not teach.
