Better Together Food Drive
Saturday, October 31
We are coming to YOUR DOOR in person on October 31st to collect food for the Moose Jaw Food Bank!!
There are many ways to help during the Food Drive (collecting food door to door, driving, sorting food, etc).
​
To volunteer, call the church at 306-692-5600 or come to the Exhibition Center at 7:00 pm.
​
For those volunteering at the Better Together Food Drive, please be at Hillcrest Church at 5:20 pm for instructions.
Volunteers will be collecting food from home between 6 pm and 9 pm on Oct 31.
Hillcrest Book Club
Hillcrest Church has a Book Club! Hillcrest Book Club is a simple way for people to read thoughtful books on Christian faith and practice, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and learn from one another along the way.

How It Works
-Choose one book for each season: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
-Read at your own pace over roughly three months—there is no weekly reading schedule and no expectation that everyone will be on the same chapter.
-We’re going to use an ongoing group chat (What's App) to share observations, insights, questions, meaningful quotes, and personal challenges as they arise.
-Gather in person at the end of the season for a relaxed conversation about what stood out, what challenged us, and how the book is shaping our lives.

Sundays Common Ground Group
Every Sunday after the morning service
Common Ground is a LifeGroup that meets regularly on Sundays after church and is open to anyone. Together, we’ll dig deeper into topics from Sunday mornings through discussion, videos, studies, and other complementary resources.
​
Our hope is that Common Ground will be a place where people form meaningful spiritual friendships, grow in their faith, and find deeper connections at Hillcrest. We also hope it will become a starting place for new LifeGroups to form and multiply throughout the Hillcrest community.
​

Do you want to be baptized?
Next baptism Sunday: November 22nd
Next baptism Class: TBD during the morning service
If you are brand new to faith in Jesus, or are a Christian who has not been baptized, you should be baptized! Through it you will be blessed, because there is always blessing in obedience!
​
Baptism is about going public with your faith in Jesus. It is a way of identifying with Jesus’ death and resurrection. Throughout the New Testament people believed and were immediately baptized. These baptisms were often followed by an encounter with the Holy Spirit.
​
We regularly offer baptism classes where you can learn more about baptism. Our next baptism class is TBD during the morning service. To sign up for the class, contact the office.
​
Our next baptism Sunday will be November 22nd during the morning service.

MOM'S TIME OUT (MTO)
TUESDAY MORNIGS | 9:30 - 11:30AM
For moms which includes time for coffee and connections, excellent childcare program, Bible study and prayer time. Sometimes a guest speaker comes in to speak on a topic interesting to parents of young kids. Childcare is available.
